Depression

Depression can sometimes feel like a dark cloud constantly hanging over you and it may feel as if you are stuck in a corner where there's no semblance of light nearby. This emotion comes from feeling out of control and being unable to cope with the circumstances of your life. It comes from experiences hopelessness over things being outside of your locus of control. God's word provides comfort to Christian women who may be struggling with this emotion:

"The Lord is near to the brokenhearted and saves the crushed in spirit."

Through therapy, we will work to help you get to the root of the depression you're experiencing through intentionally identifying negative thoughts that's caused your emotions and implement strategies to reframe your thinking through God's word and insight to help you get your footing again.
