Alexandria Rubin, Clinical Intern
Hi everyone! I’m Alexandria! I’m a counseling intern who believes that healing often happens through safe, authentic relationships where you can feel seen, supported, and challenged to grow.
As a relational therapist, I enjoy working with individuals navigating relationship difficulties, anxiety, depression, emotional overwhelm, and major life transitions. Together, we can explore the patterns, thoughts, emotions, and experiences that may be impacting how you relate to yourself, others, and the season of life you’re currently walking through.
My therapeutic approach is collaborative and integrative, drawing from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Internal Family Systems (IFS), and mindfulness-based practices. I use these approaches to help clients strengthen emotional awareness, develop practical coping skills, challenge unhelpful patterns, and move toward greater connection and intentionality.
For clients who desire faith-based counseling, I also thoughtfully integrate biblical principles, spiritual reflection, and identity in Christ alongside evidence-based clinical practices. I believe faith and emotional wellness do not have to exist separately, and therapy can be a space to understand yourself more deeply while inviting God into your healing process.
My goal is to walk alongside you as you build healthier relationships, greater self-understanding, and a life that feels more aligned with your values and faith. Click the button below to get started!
